We will be ramping up classes over the next 3 weeks. There are Covid restrictions in place at this time which limit the size and number of classes.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions recently announced by the Ontario Government, training sessions at the Asahi Judo Club will not resume until January 25, 2021 at the earliest. This date is subject to change, and may be extended as conditions evolve and following guidance from regional health authorities.

The Asahi Judo Club will be resuming limited operations on September 14, 2020. We will be at Phase I of the Judo return to sport guidelines. This means that eh classes will have limited numbers for physical distancing and primarily non-contact strength and conditioning activities
September 13, 2020
We will begin phasing in classes over the next couple of weeks. We will be contacting those members who have expressed an interest in returning to training at this time to let them know when training sessions will be scheduled. These sessions are limited to 10 people and will be set up in training groups. Due to the Covid-19 return to judo guidelines, classes will be non-contact with physical distancing. This means that they will be judo-oriented conditioning sessions at this time. A temperature check and Covid-19 screening questionnaire will be required before entering the club. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. At this time, there is are no spectators permitted or drop-ins to classes.
